OK, team, it’s time to work off all that meat and cheese and chocolate and beer!

This year, we will be joining the Unicorns at Gardiner Park (https://goo.gl/maps/FfonmPs8p3R2) for preseason fitness training, at 7pm every Monday and Wednesday, starting on January 14.

As this is general fitness training, no footy gear is needed – just running shoes, clothing appropriate for exercising, and a bottle of water.

This is an important start to the playing year – especially returning players as you are expected to be fit and ready to start serious rugby training soon.

If you cannot attend these sessions and intend to play this year, ensure you begin your own plan to get into condition – and even if you do attend, you should still have a personal plan in addition to these. If you need guidance on this, ask in the comments for exercise ideas/routines suitable for your playing position.

Gardiner Park is across the road from Gardiner station on the Geln Waverly line. If you want to set up car pooling, shout out in the comments below or work it out directly.
